The rugby field at Moralzarzal Sports City has been officially approved, thanks to the collaboration between the Moralzarzal Rugby Club and the Madrid Federation, enabling it to host official league matches at its facilities.

The approval was formalized on Thursday, March 26, concluding an intensive coordination process. This adaptation of the current 11-a-side football pitch was made possible by the direct involvement of members of the Moralzarzal Rugby Club, who worked alongside officials from the Madrid Rugby Federation to oversee and implement the necessary adjustments.
The main objective of this initiative was to ensure that the turf at Navafría Sports City met all technical and safety requirements for official competition. This transformation marks a significant milestone for the club.

"This approval changes the immediate future of the club. From now on, the Moralzarzal Rugby Club teams in their different leagues and categories will no longer have to travel to play their home matches."
