On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, celebrated on September 20, 2026, the Manzanares El Real City Council has launched an initiative to create a collective video against racism.

Citizens wishing to participate are asked to record a video of up to 30 seconds explaining how to combat racism. The goal is to gather proposals to foster coexistence and respect.
All contributions received will be compiled into a joint video that will give visibility to the different proposals from residents and associations, conveying a collective message against discrimination.
Videos should be sent to the email address: comunicacion@manzanareselreal.es.
This initiative is part of the commemoration of Manzanares El Real's first year as an International Zone of Peace Culture. The municipality has prepared a comprehensive program of cultural, participatory, and awareness-raising activities for all ages.
The activities aim to promote peace, coexistence, diversity, and the fight against racism, driven by the Neighborhood Council for Peace Culture.
