Basketball in a reduced format, known as 3x3, returns to the courts of Manzanares el Real. The organization is handled by Yelmo Basket Team, with the collaboration of the municipality's Sports Department.
The official presentation of the tournament was attended by Gema Revenga, Councilor for Sports, Alain Helies, president of CD Yelmo Team, and Daniel Rubio, club secretary. The goal is to fill the courts with teams and a sporting atmosphere.
Registrations have been open since late June. The tournament is divided into two main blocks: children's categories (Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil, and Cadete) with a cost of 8 euros per team, and the adult category (16 years and older) with a fee of 30 euros per team. This difference aims to balance the participatory spirit of children's categories with the competitive nature of the absolute category.
Children's categories have no limit on registered teams and allow for mixed teams, encouraging joint participation from an early age. In contrast, the adult category has a maximum of 16 teams, divided into Senior Men's and Senior Women's groups to ensure balanced competition.
