The Guadarrama City Council has announced the opening of registrations for its GK26 Sports Campus, which will take place from June 22 to July 10, along with other summer camps for local youth.

The Sports Department of the Guadarrama City Council has launched the registration process for the GK26 Sports Campus, a summer initiative that will be held at various municipal facilities, including the Juan Antonio Cuadrillero Municipal Sports Center, the football field, and the municipal swimming pool. The activities are aimed at young people born between 2012 and 2017.
Participants can choose from a variety of sports disciplines, such as badminton, paddle tennis, football, futsal, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, and multi-sport activities. The pre-registration period will be active from 8:00 AM on May 13 until 2:00 PM on May 15.

"It is important to note that this pre-registration does not guarantee a place, as a subsequent verification of the provided data will be carried out."

the Sports Department
To formalize pre-registration, interested parties must access the Sports Department's website and complete the corresponding form. Once the deadline has passed, a list of admitted participants will be published, who will receive payment details and required documentation via email. It is advised that registrations from those with outstanding debts to the department will not be accepted, and those not admitted will be placed on a waiting list.
The campus will operate from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The general cost is 130 euros per participant, with a reduced fee of 95 euros for those enrolled in a municipal sports school during the 2025-2026 season.
In addition to the GK26, the town will offer other summer options. The Summer Workshop at the Adapted Mountain School, aimed at minors born between 2013 and 2020, will run from June 22 to July 24, although its pre-registrations have already closed. Furthermore, the Estudiantes Club will organize the 14th edition of the 'Basketball in the Sierra' campus, from July 13 to 17 and from July 20 to 24, for boys and girls aged 7 to 15 (born between 2010 and 2017). This program will include two daily basketball sessions, one competition session, and swimming pool access, with a general price of 180 euros and discounts for club members and residents of Guadarrama.
