This innovative project, aimed at promoting continuous learning and active aging, will run from October 2026 to June 2027. The program is based on intergenerational solidarity and peer-to-peer support, with senior volunteers teaching languages, computer skills, art, theater, and well-being techniques.
Eligibility requirements include being over 60 years old and being registered in Moralzarzal. The registration period will be from September 1st to 15th, with applications processed in person and individually at El Hogar de Mayores (C/ Antón, nº 40). Opening hours are from 8:45 AM to 1:45 PM and 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Places are limited and will be allocated strictly in order of registration.
The workshop offerings cover various areas: IT and New Technologies (Basic and Intermediate levels), Languages (English in multiple levels), Creativity and Artistic Expression (Crafts, Painting, Theater, Spanish Dance), and Well-being, Health, and Personal Development (Play with Culture, Meditation, A Course in Miracles, Heart Medicine). Activities like Patchwork, Chess, or Foosball are also available; information can be obtained directly at the reception of El Hogar de Mayores.
