Minister Rocío Albert López-Ibor, accompanied by the mayor of Aranjuez, Miguel Gómez Herrero, toured the town's Job Fair this morning. During her visit, she gained firsthand knowledge of the activities of participating companies, entities, and organizations. She later signed the Book of Honor of the Aranjuez City Council in the Plenary Hall and addressed the media.
Organized by the Aranjuez City Council, the fair aims to facilitate connections between companies and job seekers, thereby promoting employment for the town's residents.
Among the participating companies were names such as Müller, Kiabi, Decathlon, Juguettos, Guaw, McDonald’s, and Norauto, many linked to planned new openings in the Parque de Medianas del Barrio de La Montaña. Attendees had the opportunity to submit their resumes and learn directly about job profiles and opportunities.
The event also featured participation from key entities of the Local Employment Board, including Aracove, CEPA, the Aranjuez Employment Office, the Aranjuez Mental Health Employment Rehabilitation Center, Fundación Juanjo Torrejón, Cruz Roja (Red Cross), ONCE, Integrandes, and Professional Training Mentoring.
Additionally, major trade unions and other collaborating entities joined, offering attendees various resources for employment, training, and employability enhancement. The program includes informational talks and free services, such as support from Fundación Juanjo Torrejón for online resume submission and Cruz Roja's professional photography service for candidates.
The Aranjuez Job Fair will remain open until 8:15 PM, when the closing ceremony will take place, led by the Aranjuez City Council's Employment Delegate, Ignacio Díaz Toribio.
