The El Escorial City Council has reinforced public services by acquiring new equipment for the Civil Protection corps, including a high-capacity water pump and electric pumps.

The council of El Escorial has completed the provision of necessary material for its public services, focusing this time on the Civil Protection unit. Tools have been incorporated to facilitate routine tasks, enhance efficiency, and boost the support capacity of the volunteer team.
Among the new acquisitions is a powerful water pump capable of handling floods, able to move 1,000 liters per minute. This equipment is essential for controlling inundations and can also be used to supply water to fire trucks from sources like swimming pools or streams, in addition to being useful for establishing defense lines in case of forest fires.
The equipment is complemented by two submersible electric pumps designed for dirty water, each with a pumping capacity of 24,800 liters per hour, which will be highly useful in various emergency situations. Furthermore, a portable 5.5 KW electric generator has been provided, ensuring the operability of devices and actions in any eventuality.
To ensure autonomy in their interventions, additional material has been purchased, including suction hoses, evacuation hoses, and waders with puncture-resistant soles and impact-protected toes.
