This year, the beer event moves to an open-air setting next to Parque Enrique Tierno Galván, known for hosting the Mercado de Productores del Planetario. The new location promises easy access via public transport and maintains the spirit of direct connection between producers and the public.
Access to Beermad 2026 will be free. Attendees will only need to purchase the official reusable glass to taste the wide selection. Around 40 craft brands, both national and international, are expected to participate, presenting over 200 different beer styles, ranging from IPAs to lagers and porters.
“"The spirit of Beermad since its first edition has been to give visibility and value to small brewing projects, offering visitors the opportunity to directly meet those behind each beer, and the effort and passion that goes into each one."
Beyond beer, Beermad will offer a complete experience with local gastronomy ("KM 0" products), live music, and cultural activities related to beer. On Saturday and Sunday, a children's area with free entertainment will be available, making the festival a family-friendly plan.
The new venue at Avenida del Planetario, corner of C/ Meneses, boasts excellent public transport connections. Bus lines 148 and 156 have stops nearby, and lines 102 and 152 are also accessible. The Méndez Álvaro station (Metro Line 6 and Cercanías C1, C5, C7, C10) is a short walk away. The organization recommends using public transport, bicycles, or walking for nearby residents.
After twelve editions, Beermad has established itself as a key beer event in the central zone. The change of location marks a new phase, maintaining its philosophy of promoting craft beer, its culture, and creating a meeting point.
