The town of El Escorial is preparing to celebrate San Juan Night on June 23rd with a program of activities including live music, traditional rituals, and a large bonfire at La Manguilla Park.

The festival, organized by Peña La Canela, will kick off at 8:00 PM and is designed for the enjoyment of the entire family, blending tradition and community.
Younger attendees can enjoy face painting and children's entertainment until 10:00 PM. Following this, at 10:30 PM, the band The GreenTones will perform a festive repertoire to liven up the evening.

"We hope that in addition to the bonfire, people will enjoy the queimada and the atmosphere until they can no longer stand."

The Comisión de Mozos, Casados y Viudos 2026 will manage the bar throughout the night, serving drinks and contributing to the festive atmosphere. The initiative is sponsored by Peña La Canela and supported by the El Escorial City Council, the commission itself, and local businesses.
