The fair, now a well-established fixture on the local calendar, primarily aims to revive a historical tradition, promote knowledge of the livestock sector, and provide family leisure activities. Parque de La Manguilla will become a showcase for the rural, livestock, and equestrian world.
The official inauguration is scheduled for Friday, June 19, at 7:00 PM, with the participation of livestock breeders and an exhibition of the participating animals. Throughout the weekend, various activities will take place for all audiences.
A highlight of this edition is the presence of the traveling market 'La Despensa de Madrid'. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover and purchase a variety of local products directly from regional producers and agri-food companies, including meat, beer, olives, cheese, wine, honey, and organic produce.
On Saturday at 7:00 PM, a Sheep Herding and Shearing Exhibition will be held, offering a live demonstration of traditional livestock trades, techniques, and customs. Additionally, pony rides will be organized for children throughout the weekend.
The event will conclude on Sunday with a tasting of Berrenda Beef. Organized by the Association of Breeders of Berrenda Cattle of the Community of Madrid (ABEMA), this activity will showcase the quality of one of the region's most representative bovine breeds.
