Civil Guard agents have dismantled a drug dealing point in the town of Alpedrete, arresting two men aged 31 and 35 for an alleged crime against public health due to drug trafficking.

The operation, named Varelax, began in March 2026 after receiving complaints from residents about the continuous comings and goings of people at a property in the urbanization. The investigation concluded with the arrest of two men, one of whom maintained a high standard of living with several high-end vehicles, some hidden in a rented industrial unit.
The second individual under investigation was responsible for guarding, holding, and selling the narcotic substance to buyers. Following inquiries, the Civil Guard carried out two searches, one at a detainee's home and another at the industrial unit.

Seized items included 70 grams of cocaine, 40 grams of hashish, over 3,000 euros in cash, and a vehicle.

The searches also uncovered accounting documents showing sales totaling nearly 50,000 euros during the first four months of the year. Both detainees were remanded in provisional custody after being brought before the court.
