The natural enclave of La Pedriza, located within the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, has activated a vehicle traffic regulation system at the La Camorza barrier in Manzanares El Real. This measure, in effect until September 30th, aims to manage visitor influx during the busiest months.

The City Council of Manzanares El Real has established specific access time slots for vehicles, dependent on the daily parking capacity. On weekdays, vehicles can enter from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM and from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the morning access is from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, while the evening slot remains the same: 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Outside these designated periods, the access barrier will be closed to vehicular traffic. This regulation is designed to prevent overcrowding in an area of high environmental value and ensure more orderly management of movements during the peak season.

Furthermore, the Council has reinforced the prohibition of overnight parking within La Pedriza. Leaving vehicles parked between 11:00 PM and 7:30 AM the following day is expressly forbidden, a measure intended to prevent prolonged occupation that could compromise space availability.

Visitors are advised to consult the official channels of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park before traveling to stay informed about parking occupancy status and potential access changes.

Buses wishing to access the interior of La Pedriza must obtain prior authorization from the City Council, a requirement part of the measures to ensure sustainable management of the natural space.
