The mayor of the municipality received a plaque from Lieutenant Colonel Alfonso Arribas and Captain Germán Serrano. This recognition symbolizes the gratitude towards the council and the entire municipality for providing municipal facilities to house a portion of the UME battalion that actively participated in extinguishing the forest fires that occurred in the Sierra Oeste last summer.
In turn, the municipal mayor took the opportunity to thank the UME for their outstanding work, not only in the recent emergency but also in the numerous interventions they carry out throughout the year. "You are a prime example of dedication, professionalism, and well-done work," the mayor stated, addressing the unit's representatives.
