The vehicle, which has been parked for a week on a downhill slope just meters from the El Tejar Public School, lacks wheels and headlights, resting on two wooden blocks. This situation has been described as "absolutely dangerous" by residents, who fear a possible collapse of the supports or that a child could be injured by interacting with the van.
A resident reported notifying the Local Police last Monday, April 20, providing the vehicle's license plate, but to date, there has been no intervention for its removal. The lack of response has raised questions about the effectiveness of the municipal towing service in emergency situations like this.
“"Has anyone thought about what could happen if any of the makeshift wooden supports give way? Or if any child, playing, leans on the vehicle more than strictly necessary?"
The local community expects swift action from authorities to ensure the safety of citizens, especially children who frequent the area. The need for speed and proximity in managing such incidents is emphasized so that residents feel adequately protected.
