Almudena Casado: A way of accompanying that seeks to transform the root of what robs us of peace

I help you become aware of the real problem in your life to transform it so you can live in peace

What happens when we stop asking only how to eliminate what hurts us and start asking what it is trying to show us? This is one of the ideas that runs through the work of Almudena Casado, a Dietitian and Transpersonal Companion, who helps people going through emotional conflicts, blockages, or situations that are robbing them of peace.
Her proposal starts from an integrative perspective: not only addressing the symptom or the visible problem, but helping the person become aware of the patterns, beliefs, and ways of interpreting reality that may be conditioning their way of life.
For years, much of personal growth work has focused on trying to change external circumstances: a relationship, a situation, a decision, a fear, or a conflict. However, for Almudena Casado, there is another fundamental question: from what inner place are we interpreting what is happening to us?
From transpersonal psychotherapy and an integrative approach, Casado accompanies people to observe what causes them suffering from a different perspective, seeking not only to alleviate immediate discomfort but to understand what lies behind it.
Her work places special emphasis on awareness. Identifying repetitive patterns, beliefs, fears, and control mechanisms allows one to begin relating differently to life's circumstances.
“Often we try to change our lives by modifying what happens externally, when true change begins by transforming the perspective from which we are experiencing what happens.”
This philosophy is summarized in a simple idea: regaining peace does not necessarily mean achieving everything as we expect, but rather developing a different way of relating to what we cannot control.
The goal of the therapeutic process is not to create dependence on the accompaniment, but to foster each person's development of internal resources, greater awareness, and autonomy to face their own lives.
For Casado, furthermore, personal transformation should not be limited to moments of crisis. Just as we continuously care for our bodies, caring for our minds and emotional world can become a daily practice.
“What transforms the mind and body is not the intensity of one week, but lifelong consistency.”
Currently, Almudena Casado is working on developing new forms of accompaniment that allow this approach to be extended beyond individual sessions, creating spaces and experiences where more people can access personal transformation tools.
Her purpose stems from a conviction: when a person changes the way they understand what they are experiencing, they can also profoundly change the way they live it.
She assures us that we are happier when we let go of our old identity, the personas we have created to get by and "protect ourselves." The Peace experienced surpasses all understanding.
