The initiative, coinciding with School Cultural Week, will engage all educational centers in Torrelodones during the mornings, offering proposals adapted to each level. These include storytelling for the first cycle of Early Childhood Education and puppet shows for the second cycle. First and second-grade Primary students will enjoy the musical play Pinocha.
Additionally, Primary students will participate in activities such as 'The museum visits your school: animated art', a batucada, and the magic show 'El carromato mágico'. Simultaneously, libraries and the Bulevar Theater will host the Cultural Book Week from April 20 to 25, featuring storytelling, baby storytelling, book exchanges, theater, and reading clubs.
Each educational center will select one work per grade to be awarded. The chosen works will be exhibited during the Book Fair on panels dedicated to each school.
A School Literary Encounter will allow students to work on the theme 'The story', with drawings for the youngest and literary compositions for older students. Selected works will be awarded and exhibited at the Book Fair.
Book Week officially began on April 20 with a book exchange at the Juan Van-Halen and José de Vicente Muñoz libraries, an activity that will be repeated daily until April 25. Other events include the baby storytelling 'Al ritmo de las manos' on Wednesday 22 and the storytelling 'Dragones y ratones, los poetas más molones' on Thursday 23.
