The PSOE of Torrelodones has urged the Community of Madrid to intervene and restore public access to the Presa del Gasco, a Cultural Heritage Site whose passage has been blocked for a year at Finca La Isabela.
The socialist party in Torrelodones has highlighted that one year has passed since access to the Presa del Gasco was blocked via Finca La Isabela. In response, they have demanded that public access be guaranteed to this site, which they consider a historical and protected enclave, classified as a Cultural Heritage Site.
A year has passed since the conflict over access to the Presa del Gasco intensified, without the Community of Madrid having arbitrated any effective solution to guarantee public passage to this historic enclave.
The socialists have denounced the inaction of the Community of Madrid, noting that despite the time elapsed, no effective measures have been implemented to ensure public transit. They have urged the regional administration to take responsibility and use all available legal instruments to restore access to this area.
The root of the problem lies in the closure of the Camino del Pardillo, specifically the section that crosses Finca La Isabela. The property owner proceeded to block the path, even installing control and surveillance elements, which has led to the current conflict.

"It is incomprehensible that, after a year, the Community of Madrid still offers no solution to a problem that directly affects heritage and the enjoyment of residents. The Presa del Gasco cannot remain isolated due to political inaction."
The Socialist Party has reminded that judicial rulings already confirm the public nature of part of the path's route. They consider the decisive intervention of the Community of Madrid essential to fully resolve the situation. Furthermore, they warn that the lack of access not only limits public enjoyment but also poses a problem for the conservation and protection of the dam's surroundings.
Rodrigo Bernal emphasized that the inability to access the dam jeopardizes a project announced last summer by the municipal Urban Planning councilor. This project, managed by a company contracted by the General Sub-directorate of Historical Heritage of the Community of Madrid, aims to enhance the value of the Presa del Gasco and its surroundings. Without access, the utility of such a project to promote a Cultural Heritage Site is compromised.
