This cultural event will bring together renowned writers such as Isabel San Sebastián, Fernando Martínez Laínez, Raquel Villaamil, Alicia Vallina, and Emilio Urberuaga, who will be signing copies for their readers. The fair will feature about thirty stalls showcasing the latest literary releases and providing an opportunity to meet these distinguished authors.
The Book Fair will be located along the Avenida de Europa Boulevard, from Calle Suecia to the Víctimas del Terrorismo roundabout. Opening hours will be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the exception of Sunday, when it will close at 8:30 PM.
In addition to the signings, there will be a municipal stand dedicated to the electronic lending platform eBookPozuelo, which offers over 12,000 titles. Attendees can register to access this service, which currently has over 2,000 users.
The family program is a key highlight of the fair. On Friday, April 24, the show Gota will be presented at 7:00 PM. Saturday will include two performances: Tú-turutú la princesa at 12:30 PM and Las vacaciones de Madame Roulotte at 7:00 PM. To close the fair on Sunday, April 26, two more shows will be offered: Chiflados at 12:30 PM and Clown Talent at 7:00 PM.
As part of the pre-event activities, the City Council will pay tribute on April 23, Book Day, to María Esperanza Morón García. This Pozuelo resident, a doctor in History and Official Chronicler of the municipality, will be remembered with the naming of the cultural center located in Plaza del Padre Vallet in her honor.
A theatrical reading of texts by Ana Diosdado, a writer who also resided in Pozuelo, will also take place. The performance, starring Ángela Tejedor, will be held on April 21 at 11:30 AM at the Reyes Católicos educational center. The Cubo Espacio Joven will host the 'Young Reading Corner' on Saturday, April 25, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, encouraging youth participation.
