Over 4,000 Young People Participated in Torrelodones' Youth Activities

The Youth Department organized a wide range of sports, cultural, and advisory activities throughout the year.

More than 4,000 young people from Torrelodones participated in the various activities organized by the Youth Department during the past academic year.

Throughout the year, the Youth Department offered an extensive program of activities, with over 4,000 young participants. These initiatives took place at the Zona Joven Torreforum, which includes a leisure center, rehearsal space, and classrooms, as well as through sports and cultural programs, special events, youth participation initiatives, and information and advisory services.
In the areas of sports, leisure, and free time, activities such as the Climbing School, the Youth Club, the Sport and Disability program, and cinema outings were scheduled, attracting over 260 young people.
Special events included the Zombie Run, the Game Christmas Fest, board games, a dance masterclass, and several theater plays. The Dinamizadores group also organized the Parade, the Terror Passage, the Great Easter Egg Hunt, and a youth concert, totaling more than 1,000 participants among children and young people.
In art and creativity, the Creative Fridays and exhibitions featured over 150 young artists and visitors. In terms of participation and coexistence, the School Forums, the Youth Plenum, the Helper Student program, and the Dinamizadores group involved nearly 400 young people.
The Zona Joven also provided nearly 4,000 youth advisory services through online channels, in-person visits, and at schoolyards, with notable emphasis on employment, study, and recess facilitation advisories.
As complementary services, first aid courses were offered, and various camps were launched during non-school periods, including the Creative Campus during Easter, the Summer School, and the Digital Camp at Christmas.
The Zona Joven Torreforum actively collaborates with various local associations and collectives, supporting entities such as Compañía Cometa, the Torrelodones Chess Club, the Elemental Skate Manuals Sports Club, the “Guías de Torrelodones” Association, among others.
