The Bulevar Theater maintained its successful programming throughout 2025, welcoming 20,986 attendees to its theater, dance, music, children's shows, as well as the Flamenco and Early Music festivals.
Weekly conferences complemented the cultural offerings, drawing nearly 1,500 participants. In September, three talks were held: on September 16 about “Gabriela Mistral. Poet and fighter for freedom”; on September 29 about “Spanish Tercios and their cinematic reflection”; and another on “Spanish Baroque in the Prado. Francisco Ribalta and José Ribera”.
In total, the House of Culture hosted nearly 50,000 people in 2025, who participated in shows, exhibitions, conferences, or attended classes at the municipal schools.
The municipal schools experienced an increase in student enrollment. The Antón García Abril Municipal School of Music and Dance, along with the municipal restoration and drawing workshop, enrolled 516 music students, 124 dance students, and 42 in restoration and drawing for the 2025-2026 academic year, with classes commencing on September 7.
Additionally, external workshops such as theater, dance, magic, yoga, vocal technique, and song dubbing attracted around 90 students. All information regarding these workshops is available on the municipal website.
The Bulevar Theater's program for September included the premiere of the flamenco show “Lejano” on Friday, September 11. Subsequently, on September 17, Nazareth Castellanos gave a lecture on stress neuroscience. On Friday, September 18, Paloma San Basilio presented her show “Dulcinea”. The month concluded with the concert monologue Los Meconios “¡Ríe con libertad carajo!”, the solidarity concert “Encuentro iberoamericano. Flamencos, cubanos, canarios y venezolanos”, and the play “Goteras”.
