The Casa de la Juventud in Colmenar Viejo has launched its performing arts school campaign for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering theater, music, and puppet shows to Early Childhood and Primary Education students.

The initiative aims to introduce performing arts to the municipality's educational centers, fostering creativity and learning through performances designed for different age groups.
The Councilor for Youth and Childhood, Enrique Navarro Hermosilla, highlighted that performing arts are a key educational tool that stimulates the senses, awakens creativity and imagination, and promotes socialization and personal growth in minors.
The program includes various shows such as 'The funny farm' and 'Jack in the Museum' by Compañía Englishtotem, 'Coser y cantar' by Compañía Teloncillo, and 'Las aventuras de Tom Sawyer' by MIC Producciones, among others.
The performances will take place at La Casa de la Juventud and the Auditorio ‘Villa de Colmenar Viejo’ between November 2026 and May 2027, with shows adapted for different age ranges, from 2 years old to 6th grade of Primary Education.
Reservations for the shows will be available from September 14th to 30th via a specific link, with a ticket price of 3 euros per child.
