The mayor of Collado Villalba, Mariola Vargas, has presented a reorganization of her Government team's delegations, aiming to optimize municipal management, strengthen public services, and enhance citizen attention in the final stretch of her term.

Among the most notable changes, Mariola Vargas will directly assume the Department of Social Services, a crucial area for assisting vulnerable individuals and groups, which she had already been managing since Noelia Díaz's resignation. Additionally, Ricardo Bodega joins the team as the new councilor for Sports and Personnel.

"The sole objective of these changes is to fine-tune, integrate, and adjust the attributions of the different councilors."

The mayor emphasized that these modifications will not affect the distribution of deputy mayoral positions or the members of the Governing Board. The new distribution of areas seeks greater efficiency in local administration.
In the new structure, Yolanda Martínez, previously responsible for Security, will now lead the Department of Local Development to boost the economy and employment. Adan Martínez retains his responsibilities in Urban Planning, Environment, and Communication. Lourdes Cuesta will add Childhood and Youth to her portfolios of Education and Culture. Miguel Aisa will manage Finance and New Technologies, while Joel Dalda will be in charge of Police and Civil Protection.
Meanwhile, Estela Mosquera will move from Local Development to Health and Consumer Affairs, Citizen Service (SAC), Statistics, General Services, and Seniors. África Sánchez will assume Women and the Addiction Treatment Center (CTA), and Ramón Pavón will add Citizen Participation to his departments of Public Works and Festivities.
The reorganization also includes technical reinforcement with the redistribution of functions among trusted personnel. Juan Antonio Tirado will support New Technologies and Communication, Marta Merino will strengthen citizen attention in Social Services, and Miguel Ignacio Sánchez will continue to support the Department of Public Works.
