The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation into the stabbing of a man that occurred around 2:40 PM this Friday inside a home in the Los Valles urbanization of Collado Villalba. The alleged assailant, a 65-year-old man who is the victim's brother-in-law, has already been arrested by authorities.
According to sources from Emergencias Madrid 112, the 62-year-old victim was found inside the residence by the SUMMA 112 medical team upon their arrival. The assault reportedly took place during a family dispute. No other injuries have been reported in the incident.
The injured man sustained an incised wound in the abdomen, consistent with a bladed weapon. After being stabilized by SUMMA 112 personnel, he was urgently transported by helicopter to Puerta de Hierro Hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition. Both the victim and the arrested individual are of Spanish nationality.
In addition to SUMMA 112 and the Guardia Civil, Collado Villalba Civil Protection units participated in the assistance and security efforts, collaborating in the initial response to the event.
