Residents of Majadahonda have voiced their complaints regarding municipal management, highlighting the deterioration of sports infrastructure and green spaces, as well as a perceived lack of dialogue from the local administration.

The citizens of Majadahonda have begun to express their dissatisfaction with the local government's management. Criticisms are directed at various areas, including the condition of sports facilities and the maintenance of public spaces.
Among the main concerns is the conversion of an open volleyball court into a closed paddle tennis court in Parque Cerro del Aire, which has led to calls for better sports infrastructure. The long-awaited Huerta Vieja swimming pool and the poor condition of sports courts in La Granadilla, which suffer from leaks and unpleasant odors, have also been mentioned.

"The more we complain, the stronger their refusal to restore Majadahonda."

The maintenance of emblematic areas such as the Gran Vía, described as the “Crown Jewel,” has also been a subject of criticism. The flowerbeds, once a source of pride for the town, now appear neglected. A councilor responsible for the area, who resides outside Majadahonda, has stated feeling “tired” of complaints about the lack of pruning, which has caused significant uproar among residents.
Additionally, repairs are requested for the parking lot at the Valle de la Oliva gym. Residents perceive indifference from the administration regarding their demands, leading them to consider the importance of upcoming elections for a change in the local political landscape.
Some citizens advocate for local political groups, such as “Vecinos por Majadahonda” (VpMJ), believing they offer greater responsiveness and attention to the specific issues of the municipality, unlike national parties that depend on central directives.
