The 'Un río vertical' exhibition will be open to the public from April 21 to April 30, showcasing the evolution of Canal de Isabel II from its industrial beginnings to becoming a global benchmark in integrated water cycle management. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM; Saturdays from 10 AM to 1:30 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM; and Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM.
As part of the commemoration, a tanker truck from Canal de Isabel II will be stationed in Plaza de Colón, offering water to residents between 11 AM and 2 PM. This initiative aims to promote responsible consumption and highlight the quality of water supplied to homes in the region.

In addition to the exhibition, Majadahonda has scheduled various cultural activities within the framework of Libromad, Madrid's Book Week, taking place from April 23 to April 26. These include the presentation of 'La Hora del cuento' on Thursday, April 23 at the 'Francisco Umbral' Municipal Library, a comic workshop on Friday, April 24 in Plaza de Colón, and the oral narration 'La Sala de Catapunchumpun'.
On Saturday, April 25, Gran Vía will host the sale of new literary releases and a performance of 'Romances a la carta'. The program is completed with a seminar on Children's and Young Adult Literature on Monday, April 20 and the book presentation of La premonición de Adela on Wednesday, April 22, both at the Municipal Library.
The weekend will also feature theatrical performances at the 'Carmen Conde' Casa de la Cultura Theater. On Friday, April 24, 'Secundario', a tribute to the supporting actor, will be staged. On Saturday, April 25, 'Huérfanos' will be performed, and on Sunday, April 26, a children's musical theater titled 'Orejas de mariposas' will be offered.
