The Theater of the Casa de Cultura in Collado Villalba will host the performance of the play Quijotescas, a proposal by the Yeses Theater Group that reinterprets the Cervantine spirit.

The performance will take place on Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 PM. This adaptation, set in the 17th century, tells the story of a widow, Doña Juana, whose passion for reading drives her to emulate the feats of knight-errants, accompanied by her maids turned squires.
During their journey, the peculiar group faces various situations that Doña Juana tries to resolve by applying the logic of the books she has devoured, often leading to unexpected and comical outcomes.

On their journey, the knight and her squires learn that life, at times, is far from literature, and that literature can be a way to invent one's own life.

Tickets for this performance are free and can be collected at the Concejalía de Mujer, located in the Centro Polifuncional at Plaza Príncipe de España, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event is financially supported by Reale Foundation and the Consejería de Familia, Juventud y Asuntos Sociales of the Community of Madrid.
