Raphael's granddaughter, Manuela de Arenzana, has returned to athletics at the age of 22, competing for the Majadahonda Athletics Club and receiving proud support from her mother, Alejandra Martos.

Manuela de Arenzana, the eldest of the eight grandchildren of the renowned artist Raphael, has made a comeback to the world of athletics at 22 years old. The young woman now competes for the Majadahonda Athletics Club, a return that has filled her mother, Alejandra Martos, daughter of the singer and journalist Natalia Figueroa, with emotion.
According to a report published by ¡Hola! magazine, Alejandra Martos, who works as a restorer at the Thyssen Museum, has shared her pride in her eldest daughter's successes on the track. The young athlete, who is studying Psychology and aspires to be a criminologist, has demonstrated that discipline and determination are inherited traits, albeit in a sporting field very different from her grandfather's musical career.
Alejandra Martos paid tribute to her daughter's effort by sharing photographs from the championship on social media. "Discipline, perseverance, dedication, effort, and hard work… and here you are again! Congratulations Manu! I love you very much!", wrote the proud mother, visibly moved. The images capture Manuela's intensity in sprint races, showcasing her technique and power.
Manuela de Arenzana, daughter of Alejandra Martos and Álvaro de Arenzana, lived in Mexico between 2016 and 2021 due to her father's work in marketing. After returning to Madrid, she began her university studies and has shown an interest in criminology. Her mother described her in an interview as a "warrior" during her early teenage years, now a disciplined and organized student.
