Galapagar will host a special gala on October 8th to award academic excellence to 104 students from Primary, Secondary, and Baccalaureate, as well as Adult Education participants.

The school year in Galapagar begins with a special recognition for 104 students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements. These young individuals, who excelled in the final stages of their education, will receive monetary prizes ranging from 200 to 555 euros, representing a municipal investment of 37,000 euros.
The City Council aims not only to value the students' effort and dedication but also to motivate them to continue their educational paths, emphasizing that consistent work leads to significant rewards.
The award ceremony will be presided over by mayoress Carla Greciano and is scheduled for October 8th at 7:00 PM in the Teatro Jacinto Benavente at the La Pocilla Cultural Center. The event will serve as a public tribute to the hard work and study hours dedicated by the youth, and an opportunity to celebrate this achievement with their loved ones and the educational community.
This year, the Oreja Verde Adult Education School is included in the Academic Excellence Awards. Two students from this school have been recognized, broadening the awards' scope to encompass diverse educational journeys and highlighting that effort and the desire to learn can be rewarded at any stage of life.
