The Galapagar City Council, in collaboration with the local Health Center, has scheduled a series of initiatives focused on prevention and active aging for senior citizens.

On May 25th, the Casa del Mayor will host informative workshops on vaccination. During this session, held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, nursing staff will explain the importance of immunization against diseases such as the flu, pneumococcus, or tetanus, while addressing common questions from attendees.
Furthermore, a healthy walk will take place on May 29th between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. This activity, organized to mark World No Tobacco Day, aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of smoking while promoting outdoor physical activity.
Those interested in participating in any of these proposals can register in person at the Casa del Mayor or the Health Center. Additionally, the local government has provided an email contact channel to facilitate access to these activities.
