This training, which combines online theoretical modules with in-person practical sessions, aims to equip participants with the necessary skills for aquatic rescue and emergency management. The theoretical phase will take place virtually between April 20 and April 23, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
During the theoretical sessions, crucial topics such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) will be covered on Monday, April 20, basic life support and first aid on Tuesday, April 21, psychological aspects on Wednesday, April 22, and legal issues on Thursday, April 23. Theoretical exams will be available from Monday, April 27 at 3:00 PM until Friday, April 30 at 5:00 PM.
Subsequently, the training will continue with the in-person theoretical-practical sessions, which will take place at the municipal indoor pool on May 1, 2, and 3, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. To participate, interested individuals must be at least 16 years old or turn 16 before December 31 of the current year, possess a Compulsory Secondary Education diploma, and know how to swim.
The course fee is 180 euros for family members and associates of IPA Madrid, affiliates of SUP and IPSE, as well as for individuals registered in Galapagar, Collado Villalba, Colmenarejo, Valdemorillo, and Torrelodones, by applying the discount coupon “EMPADRONADOS”. For other participants, the cost is 240 euros. Registrations are now open and are formalized by reserving a place through course payment.
