The Hoyo de Manzanares City Council, through its Department of Childhood and Youth, will offer a free DJ workshop during the month of May, aimed at young people born between 2008 and 2013.

The activity, titled “DJ: From the Mix to the Stage”, will take place on May 6, 13, 20, and 27. This training proposal, developed in collaboration with the La Maraña Association, seeks to combine technical, creative, and recreational aspects to help participants acquire skills in music mixing.
During the four practical sessions, held at the Alcántara Building from 5:45 PM to 7:45 PM, young people will learn key concepts such as BPM, synchronization, equalization, filter usage, and musical structure. The goal is for them to design a small set to perform on stage, developing their musical ear and technical confidence.
The registration period will open on Wednesday, April 22, at 4:30 PM, and the 10 available spots will be assigned strictly by registration order. Interested individuals can register online by downloading, completing, and sending the form to juventud@hoyodemanzanares.es, or in person at the Casa de la Juventud during specified hours.
Priority will be given to residents of Hoyo de Manzanares. Any remaining spots will be allocated to non-residents of the municipality, also following the order of registration. Registrations made before the established start date will not be accepted.
