The home defeat against Unión Adarve has complicated Las Rozas' chances of securing the runner-up spot. The team, which has fought for the top position throughout the season, is now in fourth place and needs a victory in Galapagar on the final matchday, in addition to Torrejón not winning and Trival Valderas losing, to reach second place.
“"We came from perhaps our best game of the season in Villaverde, but we were sluggish, we were bad."
The match was marked by a defensive error that led to Adarve's first goal, scored by Kosty. From that moment on, the visiting team, which displayed a solid defensive organization, controlled the game and limited Las Rozas' opportunities. Despite some attempts, including a shot by Marcos Gozalo that hit the post, the score remained unchanged until the final goal.
In the second half, the coach made tactical changes seeking a reaction, but Adarve's goalkeeper, Vicent, thwarted several clear scoring chances. Finally, Dani Navarro assisted Iván Sánchez for the definitive 0-2, sealing Unión Adarve's victory and leaving Las Rozas with the need for a mental and footballing comeback to face the promotion playoffs.
