The cultural agenda for Torrelodones from September 24 to 26 includes a varied offering of shows. The Teatro Bulevar will be the main venue for three prominent events, while the Casa de Cultura Paco de Lucía will host a new exhibition.
On Thursday, September 24, at 7:30 PM, the Teatro Bulevar will host a solidarity concert for Venezuela. Organized in collaboration with the City Council, the Paco de Lucía Foundation, and the Ibero-American Encounters Project of the Orchestra of the Faculty of Geography and History of the UCM, the event will feature original compositions and arrangements from various repertoires.
On Friday, September 25, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, the play “Goteras” will premiere, a production by the Network of Theaters of the Community of Madrid. The piece tells the story of Toni, a playwright who discovers that his upstairs neighbor is himself in the future.
On Saturday, September 26, also starting at 7:30 PM, the Teatro Bulevar will present the inclusive play “Lo Siento”. Produced by the Cultural Association Teatro Unificado Las Rozas and directed by Manu Medina, the play sensitively explores Rico's emotional journey as he faces discrimination and will include Spanish Sign Language (LSE).
Tickets for “Goteras” and “Lo Siento” will be available on the municipal website, while for the solidarity concert, tickets can be purchased through Vivaticket or by contributing to row 0.
In parallel, the Casa de Cultura Paco de Lucía is hosting the exhibition “La memoria del color” by local artist Silvia Anel. The exhibition, which can be visited until October 16, features over thirty recent large-format works reflecting the artist's creative maturity.
