Sevilla la Nueva is preparing to host a new edition of FrikiCon, the event dedicated to geek culture, which will take place on Saturday, October 17th, and Sunday, October 18th, at the Adolfo Suárez Sports Pavilion. The convention aims to establish itself as a meeting point for young people and adults interested in the universe of comics, cosplay, video games, board games, role-playing, and pop culture.
The organization, Un Mundo a Otra Escala, in collaboration with the Sevilla la Nueva City Council, announces that the program will include comics, cosplay, board games, the participation of specialized artists, and industry shops. Specific details regarding the schedule and activities will be released soon.
FrikiCon was founded with the purpose of creating a gathering space in the southwest of the Community of Madrid for hobbies such as manga, anime, cinema, and video games. After several editions held in Sevilla la Nueva since 2022, the fair returns to the municipality this autumn.
The pavilion, located at Calle Villanueva, 12, will open its doors on Saturday, October 17th, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Sunday, October 18th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
