The Community of Madrid has allocated 14 million euros from the Regional Investment Program (PIR) for the expansion and modernization of the Carlos Ruiz sports complex in Pozuelo de Alarcón, aiming to open the new facilities early next year.

The project, with an estimated completion time of seven months, includes the construction of a new building that will house a heated swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, and a dedicated area for local sports clubs' activities. This initiative seeks to significantly enhance the municipality's sports offerings.
A representative from the Community of Madrid recently visited the town to oversee the progress of the works and gain firsthand insight into the details of this significant investment. Information regarding the visit and the project specifics has been released through an official statement from the regional Executive.
