The evening, part of the special ‘Tres Cantos de Cine’ program throughout April, featured the actress and journalist who chaired the jury. The event was marked by a large audience turnout, with all seats occupied, reflecting the growing interest in cinema in the locality.
This edition surpassed expectations with over 430 short films submitted from various parts of the country, competing for awards totaling more than 11,000 euros. The short film Una vocal was the big winner of the night, receiving four accolades, including Best Cinematography, Best Male Director, the Movistar Plus Award for Best Short Film, and the Community of Madrid Award.
Other notable awards included La resolución de Urd for Best Local Production Short Film and Anaglifo in the Best Animated Short Film category. The Best Soundtrack went to Montecarlo 67, while the Planeta Formación Award for Best Documentary was given to Relato del niño que estuvo allí.

The Netflix Award for Social Inclusion and Diversity Defense was presented to Sexo a los 70, which also won awards for Best Leading Actress and Best Direction. The actor who played the lead role in Insalvable was recognized with the award for Best Male Performance, and All You Need Is Love took home the prize for Best Screenplay. The Audience Award went to Faustino, and the Best Short Film of the competition to Mimo.
During the gala, an emotional tribute was paid to a renowned actress, whose daughter, present as the jury president, dedicated words of remembrance and recognition to her legacy in the Spanish scene. This moment of affection was shared by the attending public.
