The San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council will launch a new edition of the Psychosocial Risk Prevention and School Coexistence Program in November, aimed at 1st year ESO and Special Education students.

The initiative, which takes place during tutoring hours once or twice a month, aims to provide students with emotional, social, and cognitive tools and skills for their personal development, foster interpersonal relationships, and prevent conflict situations.
Topics covered in the workshops include emotional management, self-esteem, social skills, prevention of school bullying, responsible use of information technology and social media, and gender equality. The program extends to public and state-subsidized educational centers, including the Vicente Ferrer Special Education College and the Silvio Abad CEIPSO.
As a novelty, this course the program expands its reach to the Silvio Abad CEIPSO, reinforcing preventive actions in the educational field. Last year, two CEIPSOs were already incorporated into the program.
Families are a fundamental part of the program, so two informational sessions will be held to involve them in the learning and personal development of their children throughout the school year.
