The City Council of San Sebastián de los Reyes has announced a tribute to Benito Milano, a physiotherapist who has been a fundamental part of the Spanish national football team's medical staff. The event will take place on October 7th at 6:00 PM in the auditorium of the Municipal Training Center, located at Ramón y Cajal Avenue, 5. Entry will be free until full capacity.
Benito Milano, a resident of the town, has over 20 years of experience working for the Royal Spanish Football Federation. For eight of those years, he has been part of the national first team's medical staff, helping to keep players in peak physical condition. His work, though discreet, has been crucial for the team's performance, which won the European Championship in 2024 and secured Spain's second World Cup in 2026.
In addition to his work with the national team, Milano is the head of Physiotherapy for the Sports Service of the City Council of San Sebastián de los Reyes. Users of the municipal sports centers 'La Viña' and 'Dehesa Boyal' benefit from his care and professional expertise.
