The Voces LGBTIAQ+ choir from Madrid will offer a concert on June 16th in San Sebastián de los Reyes, serving as the grand finale to the municipal Pride program.

The performance, scheduled for 8:00 PM at the Centro Joven Sanse, is part of the activities organized by the City Council to commemorate this celebration. This concert is particularly significant as it coincides with the group's tenth anniversary, featuring a show that traces the emotional, social, and political evolution of the past decade through music.
Voces LGBTIAQ+'s performance blends various musical styles with a stage presentation incorporating artistic and advocacy elements, addressing themes such as diversity, collective memory, and the defense of human rights. The choir identifies as a community using music to raise visibility for the collective, preserve its memory, and promote equality.
Under the musical direction of Gonzalo García Baz, the repertoire will include adaptations and original compositions. Attendees can enjoy songs by artists such as Raffaella Carrá, David Bowie, Raphael, Lady Gaga, Camarón, Mocedades, Mercedes Sosa, Rozalén, Nino Bravo, and Sam Smith, as well as the choir's own creations like 'LGTB', 'Mundo binario', 'Marsha is coming', and 'Peras y manzanas'.
This performance will mark the conclusion of the activities scheduled in San Sebastián de los Reyes for Pride, adding a choral offering that combines music, memory, and diversity to the municipality's cultural calendar, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of a recognized group within the LGBTIAQ+ choral scene in Madrid.
