The plan is structured into three main lines of action: nearly 18 million euros will be allocated to urban remodeling, 1.6 million to asphalt and paving, and 9.5 million to actions related to Public Services. The local Government assures that this distribution will allow for large-scale projects and specific improvements that will directly impact the well-being of residents.
Interventions promoted by the Department of Urban Development, Works, and Mobility will focus on pedestrian safety, universal accessibility, improved lighting, and the renovation of urban furniture. Additionally, the creation of segregated bike lanes is planned to encourage more sustainable mobility in the city.
Among the priority areas identified by the City Council are Avenida de Colmenar Viejo, Viñuelas, the city center, El Pinar, the Cineastas sector, the industrial zone, Soto de Viñuelas, and the Salón Urbano, where projects specifically designed for each environment will be executed.
Regarding Public Services actions, plans include reinforcing trees and green areas, improving water efficiency, installing ornamental fountains at strategic points, creating new community areas, and incorporating efficient solutions for sanitation and LED lighting.
Currently, works such as Parque Paraninfo, which will become a major endowment center, the recreational areas of Metropolitan Park, the creation of new children's areas, and gardening work in Embarcaciones, Avenida de la Vega, and the northern part of the city are underway.
