The Tres Cantos City Council has invested 100,000 euros in the renovation of fountains and ponds during the summer, improving their conservation and efficiency.

The Tres Cantos City Council has carried out various actions to modernize municipal fountains and ponds under the 'Abierto por vacaciones' program. These interventions aim to improve their conservation and energy efficiency.
In the Central Park lagoon, improvements have been made to the waterproofing, with an investment of 15,000 euros. The goal is to prevent water loss and facilitate cleaning and conservation efforts.
Meanwhile, the Sector Islas pond has undergone cleaning, sludge removal, and unclogging of pipes. The waterproofing of the basin has involved an investment exceeding 35,000 euros.
The Puerta de Madrid fountain has renewed its lighting system with LED technology, an action that cost 50,000 euros. Additionally, another 50,000 euros were allocated to the renovation of its hydraulic system last year, totaling 100,000 euros for this fountain. The new LED spotlights have reduced power consumption from 120 to 16 watts.
These works are complemented by other improvements in gardening, children's areas, dog zones, and urban furniture, totaling around 200,000 euros. The Council is also advancing in public space transformation projects such as the Salón Urbano and Viñuelas Avenue, with an investment of 6.5 million euros.
