This Saturday, June 6th, Tres Cantos prepares to host the twelfth edition of 'Comercios Mágicos' on Avenida de Viñuelas, an initiative aiming to highlight local commerce with free family-friendly activities.

On Saturday, June 6th, from 10 AM to 3 PM, Avenida de Viñuelas will transform into the venue for the twelfth edition of ‘Comercios Mágicos’. This initiative, organized by the Community of Madrid in collaboration with the City Council of Tres Cantos through the Department of Commerce, primarily aims to showcase the commercial fabric of Madrid's municipalities and encourage shopping at local businesses.
The event, launched twelve years ago, has become a highly anticipated occasion. This year, the designated area will feature a 500-square-meter themed commercial village inspired by magic, with themed corners like 'The Magic Boutique', 'The Hat Shop', 'The Magic School', and 'The Toy Store'. Throughout the morning, there will be street entertainment, roaming characters, and shows designed for the entire family, conveying a positive message about the importance of proximity businesses.
Over a hundred businesses from Tres Cantos are participating in this edition. Customers who make purchases at participating stores can exchange their tickets for gifts, as well as benefit from special promotions and enter raffles. The event will also emphasize sustainability, promoting recycling and the responsible use of materials.

"Local commerce is one of the great assets of our city, as well as a generator of employment, wealth, and social cohesion. Initiatives like ‘Comercios Mágicos’ undoubtedly contribute to highlighting the extraordinary work our merchants do every day, which is essential for keeping our city alive, dynamic, and happy."

Jesús Moreno · Mayor of Tres Cantos

"We invite all residents of Tres Cantos to come, enjoy the activities, and above all, to discover and support our city's establishments, which offer proximity, quality, and personalized attention – the essence and identity of Tres Cantos."

María José Beltrán · Councillor for Commerce
The ‘Comercios Mágicos’ initiative will tour other municipalities in the Community of Madrid in the coming months, aiming to strengthen the bond between merchants and consumers and highlight the crucial role of small local businesses. The event in Tres Cantos takes place this Saturday, June 6th, on Avenida de Viñuelas, from 10 AM to 3 PM, with free admission and activities.
