The city of Tres Cantos has organized an extensive program for the last weekend of May, encompassing cultural, sports, commercial, and family leisure activities. These initiatives, coordinated by various city council departments, aim to offer options for all ages across different parts of the municipality.
The Avenida de Colmenar Viejo and Plaza Antonio Gala will host the 3rd Trade, Hospitality, and Automotive Fair. Throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, attendees can enjoy family leisure activities and support local consumption. Friday will also feature the closing of the Festival In & Out Jazz 2026 with a performance by The Good Men Swingtet. Concurrently, the Casa de Andalucía will inaugurate the Andalusian Fair at the Centro Cívico Torre del Agua, with guitar and rociero choir performances.
Saturday's program includes a Family Music Therapy session at the Centro Cultural Adolfo Suárez, organized with the Music Therapy Classroom and the CTNNB1 Association. The Auditorio Municipal will host a dramatized reading of ‘Caperucita en Manhattan’ by the ALULA group from the Universidad Popular Carmen de Michelena. In the afternoon, the Coral Discanto and the Coro Ludi Musici will perform Mozart's Requiem at the Parroquia Santa María Madre de Dios, featuring over 40 voices and an orchestra.
In the sports arena, the Centro Deportivo Gabriel Parellada will host a new edition of PequeSport, an athletics event for children aged 3 to 14. Additionally, an environmental activity focused on transhumance will take place, with over 200 Merino sheep moving from Parque Sur towards Valdeloshielos, organized by the Department of Environmental Management.
On Sunday, the Polideportivo de La Luz will be the venue for the Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship of Tres Cantos, with more than 300 gymnasts competing. The cultural offerings are rounded out by the exhibition ‘Análogos’ by illustrator Carletta at Factoría Cultural (until June 1st) and ‘Tesoros de Hollywood’ at the Centro Cultural Adolfo Suárez.
