The Tres Cantos City Council has opened the application period for a new employment pool for Sports Technicians, intended for interim appointments.

The call for applications, which began on Saturday, August 22nd, will establish an employment pool with a maximum validity of two years. The selection process will be conducted through a merit-based competition and is aimed at candidates in Group A, Subgroup A2.
Aspiring candidates have ten business days to submit their applications, starting from the day after the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM). Applications must be processed through the municipal electronic headquarters.
To access this employment pool, candidates must hold a university degree such as a Bachelor's, University Diploma, or equivalent. Additionally, they must meet all other requirements stipulated in the call's bases and provide the necessary documentation.
The selection system relies solely on the evaluation of merits, with a maximum score of 10 points. Professional experience carries the most weight, potentially earning up to 6 points, with consideration given to services rendered in Public Administrations or equivalent private sector positions.
Training can contribute up to 4 additional points. Possession of university degrees related to the role, such as a Bachelor's in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFYD), which awards 2 points, will be valued. Courses in the sports field lasting at least 20 hours, provided or accredited by official bodies, will also be considered, each worth 0.25 points.
The employment pool will consist of candidates who achieve a minimum of 5 points. Applicants will be ranked according to their scores, and appointments will be made based on municipal service needs.
The pool may be dissolved before its two-year term if it is depleted or if a new pool is established as a result of another selection process. The complete call details are available in the BOCM and will soon be accessible on the municipal electronic headquarters.
