Colmenar Viejo and Soto del Real are enhancing their patron saint festivals with a special night bus service on July 31st and August 1st.

Colmenar Viejo is preparing to complement the patron saint festivals of Soto del Real with a transport plan designed to ensure a safe return home. On Friday, July 31st, and Saturday, August 1st, a special bus service will be implemented connecting both municipalities throughout the night, with departures extending into the early morning hours.
This initiative aims to facilitate travel between Colmenar Viejo and Soto del Real during the two nights of celebration. The journey will cost 3 euros per ticket, with the goal of encouraging residents to use public transport instead of private vehicles.
Buses will depart from the Paseo de la Ermita de Santa Ana in Colmenar Viejo, next to the El Ventanal shopping center. In Soto del Real, departures will be from Avenida Víctimas del Terrorismo, near Desaceral.
The special route will follow the usual paths of lines 720, 725, and 726 as they pass through Colmenar Viejo, offering increased frequency during the festive nights.
The service from Colmenar Viejo will start at 11:00 PM and run continuously until 3:00 AM, with departures every half hour until 7:30 AM. From Soto del Real, departures will begin at 11:30 PM, with a similar frequency until 3:30 AM, continuing until 8:00 AM.
In addition to this reinforcement, regular lines 725 and 726 will maintain their usual service, including night schedules, connecting the area with Madrid and Guadalix de la Sierra.
