The municipality of San Sebastián de los Reyes has taken a significant step in modernizing its security resources with the acquisition of four new vehicles for the Local Police. This initiative aligns with the municipal objective of equipping the police force with resources adapted to current operational demands and enhancing its response capabilities for various interventions.

The fleet renewal includes vehicles designated for both specialized units and service patrols. These new cars are equipped with specific features designed to increase the efficiency and operational effectiveness of police actions.

Among the notable additions is an eight-seater Citroën SpaceTourer Plus, assigned to the Grupo Omega. This vehicle is specially outfitted for operational deployments and situations requiring rapid response, thanks to its transport capacity and riot control equipment, facilitating both preventive measures and immediate interventions.

Furthermore, the K-9 Unit of the San Sebastián de los Reyes Local Police will be strengthened with a second adapted Citroën SpaceTourer Plus. This vehicle has been designed to ensure appropriate conditions during the transport and work of police dogs, featuring two kennels, a climate control system, and a non-slip floor.

The allocation is completed by two low-visibility marked hybrid BMW X1 vehicles, which will be used for patrol duties. These cars incorporate advanced technology for immediate access to police databases, streamlining operational management and contributing to reduced response times, while also enabling more discreet surveillance.

The incorporation of this new fleet represents a substantial expansion of the Local Police's material resources. According to information provided by the City Council, the new vehicles integrate cutting-edge technological components and sustainability-oriented solutions, thereby enhancing the operational capabilities of the various police units.
