The San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council is concluding its psychosocial risk prevention and school coexistence program in May, with final sessions for families of 1st-year ESO students.

The last meetings, scheduled for May 18 and 21, will take place at the Marcelino Camacho Municipal Occupational Training Center. This initiative aims to actively involve families in the educational process, providing information on the activities carried out and promoting effective coordination between home and educational centers.
The program's main objective is to equip students with essential tools to prevent psychosocial risk factors. It focuses on developing emotional, social, and cognitive skills crucial for personal growth and conflict resolution. Through specific workshops, participants have worked on content designed to improve coexistence and acquire strategies to help avoid problematic situations in the school environment.

"Family participation is considered a key element to reinforce the competencies worked on in the educational field."

The final sessions are organized by educational centers. On May 18, families from IES Joan Miró, Juan de Mairena, and the CEIPSOS Antonio Machado and Teresa de Calcuta centers will attend their meetings. On May 21, it will be the turn for families from IES Atenea, Gonzalo Torrente Ballester, and Julio Palacios. Both appointments will be held in classroom 4 of the Marcelino Camacho Municipal Occupational Training Center, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
These meetings aim to answer questions, provide detailed information about the program, and consolidate the learning acquired by students in the workshops. With the conclusion of this training cycle, the San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council reaffirms its commitment to improving school coexistence and student well-being in the municipality.
