The municipality of San Sebastián de los Reyes has registered 1,605 applications for school meal and supply aid for the 2026-2027 academic year, benefiting a total of 2,658 students.

Following the closure of the application period on May 18, the City Council's Education Service has begun reviewing the documentation submitted by families to verify compliance with the requirements established in the call for applications.
Once the analysis is complete, a provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants will be published on the municipal website. This list will detail the reasons for exclusion to facilitate the correction of errors or the submission of necessary documentation within a ten-business-day period.
The council reminds applicants that proper processing is essential, as failure to complete the procedures within the established timeframe will result in the rejection of the application. Inclusion on the provisional list does not guarantee automatic approval of the aid, with the final resolution to be announced after a full evaluation.
The Department of Education has set up a support service to address queries and assist families throughout the process, emphasizing that this aid is part of the municipal policies to support education and alleviate the costs associated with the start of the academic year.
