As of April 28, interested individuals can apply for one of the 110 affordable rental homes that are part of the VIVE III Plan in Colmenar Viejo. This initiative, located in the Arroyo Espino neighborhood, represents the first phase of this program in the municipality, in line with the Community of Madrid's strategy to increase residential offerings.
The homes, located at Calle Alonso de Ojeda, 32, are available in one and two-bedroom layouts. The development includes a variety of services and common facilities, such as a swimming pool, landscaped areas, children's play areas, an outdoor gym, and spaces dedicated to parcel reception. Additionally, five adapted homes for people with reduced mobility have been provided.
Monthly rental prices vary depending on the type of home, starting at 667 euros for one-bedroom units and going up to 1,099 euros for two-bedroom units. These rates include community fees, as well as taxes and charges associated with the rental.
The registration process is conducted through a specific web platform, and homes will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Key handover is estimated to take place in September of this year.
To qualify for these homes, applicants must meet several requirements, such as using the home as their primary residence, not owning another property in Spain, being of legal age or an emancipated minor, having Spanish nationality or legal residency, and falling within income limits set between 1.5 and 5.5 times the IPREM. Furthermore, the rental cost must not exceed 35% of the household's income.
