The northern area of Madrid is preparing for the tenth edition of the Madrid North Cup, a youth football tournament that, from May 1st to 3rd, will gather over 70 teams and prominent academies in Tres Cantos and Colmenar Viejo.

What was previously known as the Tres Cantos Cup has evolved to establish itself as the Madrid North Cup, aiming to become a benchmark for formative football in the region. This name change reflects the event's growth and its ambition to attract bright young football prospects from national and international scenes.
The tenth edition marks a turning point, not only due to the name change but also the inclusion of Colmenar Viejo as a new official venue, complementing the facilities in Tres Cantos. Over 70 teams are expected to participate, playing a total of 230 matches in just three days, under a dynamic and demanding competition format.
The tournament will feature academies from world-renowned clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, AC Milan, and Everton FC. This participation offers a unique opportunity for local residents to enjoy high-quality football close to home.

"The Madrid North Cup is much more than football."

the organization
Despite the competitiveness, the organization emphasizes that the event maintains its focus on education and the transmission of values such as respect, camaraderie, and fair play. All facilities will have permanent medical attention and official referees, and the game system ensures a minimum number of matches for all participants.
Former footballer Vicente del Bosque will be the ambassador for this edition, a figure who perfectly embodies the values the championship seeks to promote. Additionally, as a new feature for 2026, live broadcasts of the matches will be available, allowing families and fans to follow the tournament from anywhere.
